Practical learning, built around usefulness.
FixMySkills projects are designed to help people understand useful ideas and turn them into practical action.
We are not interested in learning that looks impressive but does very little. The aim is to make complex or important topics clearer, more structured and more usable.

Learning should help people do something better.
Whether the topic is money, business, mindset, planning or instructional design, the same question sits underneath the work.
What should the learner be able to understand, decide, apply or improve after engaging with this project?
How FixMySkills projects are shaped.
Clear explanation
Good learning starts with clarity. We aim to explain ideas in plain language, without stripping away the depth that makes them valuable.
Practical application
The point is not just to know more. The point is to use what you know. FixMySkills projects are shaped around application, decision-making and improvement.
Structured pathways
Useful learning needs structure. Each project should help people move through the topic in a way that feels logical, manageable and purposeful.
Expert-led content
Many FixMySkills projects are built around the knowledge and experience of people who have worked deeply in their field.
Useful resources
Courses, guides, tools, templates, videos and companion resources are used where they make the learning easier to understand or apply.
AI where it adds value
AI can support faster development, better structure and more flexible learning design. But it should serve the learning, not become the gimmick.
The goal is practical progress.
A lot of learning content simply transfers information. That has its place, but it is rarely enough on its own.
FixMySkills projects aim to move beyond passive information and help people make sense of a topic, organise what matters and apply it in real life.
- Understand the key ideas
- Recognise what matters
- Apply practical steps
- Make better decisions
- Build confidence
- Improve over time

Built with focus, not endless expansion.
Some FixMySkills projects are developed with expert partners, but the current priority is supporting and developing the existing project portfolio.
New collaborations may be considered where there is strong alignment, but FixMySkills is not currently positioned as an open call for new projects.
